The shock I felt, here, yesterday, to see big changes underway.
The taller trees drastically pruned. I noticed cuz I’m leaf attuned.
Below, where shadows used to fall, new plants were growing, sprouting tall.
Perhaps the pruning played a part to give the lower growth its start.
The cacti thrive in spaces bright, but please don’t touch, they’re just for sight.
Bring a friend, and take a walk. This jungle loves to host small talk.
